Some situations call for more than a traditional physical therapy visit. Atom offers a select group of specialized services that provide advanced treatment technology, extended one-on-one rehabilitation, or comprehensive physical capacity testing.
MR4 Advanced Laser + NeuroStim Therapy
A focused treatment option combining super-pulsed therapeutic laser technology with neurological electrical stimulation in one advanced treatment system.
How does the technology work?
The MR4 combines super-pulsed laser therapy with neurological electrical stimulation, while intelligent TARGET™ technology measures tissue electroconductivity to help identify and focus treatment on the areas being addressed.
What makes it different?
Two therapeutic technologies work together in a single targeted treatment system, providing Atom with an additional clinical tool that can be used alongside rehabilitation when appropriate for the patient's individual needs and recovery goals.
Intensive One-on-One Stroke Rehabilitation
Extended private rehabilitation for stroke survivors who need a greater level of time, attention, and individualized support than a traditional therapy appointment can provide.
Who may benefit?
This service is designed for stroke survivors whose mobility, balance, strength, coordination, walking, or functional independence may require longer and more intensive rehabilitation sessions.
What makes it different?
Dedicated clinical time is reserved specifically for the patient. Sessions can be scheduled for extended periods based on individual needs, allowing the rehabilitation team to work intensively toward meaningful functional goals without the limitations of a standard insurance-based appointment.
Functional Capacity & Limitation Testing
Comprehensive objective testing designed to document physical abilities, limitations, tolerances, and functional capacity.
What does the evaluation assess?
Testing may examine strength, mobility, lifting and carrying ability, positional tolerances, endurance, movement performance, and other physical demands relevant to everyday or work-related function.
What makes it different?
This is a structured, extended evaluation rather than a routine therapy visit. The goal is to produce objective information about what an individual can safely and consistently do and where meaningful physical limitations remain.
Not sure where your condition fits?
You don't need to figure that out before making an appointment. Tell us what's been bothering you and we'll help determine the appropriate next step.
